  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat with just enough oil to coat the pan. Season your pork chops with salt, pepper and garlic powder and brown 2 minutes per side.

  2. Remove your pork chops from the pan and set aside on a plate.

  3. Lower pan heat to medium and add oil, butter and flour to the pan. Brown the mixture, stirring often and being careful not to burn.

  4. Carefully add broth, mushrooms and onion-pepper mix and bring to a simmer.

  5. Add chops and simmer until your gravy is the desired consistency.
